there are so many cool things to discover on the web.
here are some that i think are neat.
my favorite manga. it's a historical fiction taking place during the early 1900s after the russo-japanese war. it has very interesting characters and is super hilarious despite the subject matter. at least one of the fictional war criminals will probably make you feel insane.

The 1998 anime, also known as "season 0". It adapts the beginning of the manga and is a more slice-of-life monster of the week story that doesn't focus on the card game. While still not being very accurate to the manga, it is an enjoyable way to experience Yu-Gi-Oh even if you're not a Duel Monsters fan.

The start of the Gundam franchise. The anime is recommended over the movies because of the breakneck pacing of the condensed movie versions, but either one is a great entryway into Gundam. The animation may show its age, but stick around and you'll get to enjoy the much-improved animation of the sequel series Zeta Gundam (1985) which is my personal favorite.

A 2004 anime that's a creative retelling of The Count of Monte Cristo. Except it's thousands of years in the future and the count is a blue alien, the status of main character is shifted to the minor character Albert from the book. It's visually interesting, very unique, and dare I say yaoiful.

One of my favorite childhood DS games. It's a sim game where you run a clothing store as a fashion designer and have to beat the goal of each level and win fashion battles to keep upgrading your shop. I really love the absurd tone and cute aesthetic, with characters like a trio of french aliens named Les Fashionistas for example.
